No. Customers scan your QR code and join the queue in their phone's browser. There's nothing to install, for them or for you.
How do customers know when it's their turn?
Their status page updates live and buzzes their phone the moment you call them, and they can switch on push notifications for a nudge even with the tab closed. They can step out for a coffee and you'll hold their spot. Optional WhatsApp alerts are available too if you enable them.
Can customers book appointments, or is it walk-in only?
Both. Switch on appointments and customers can book a time with a specific staff member or with anyone. When they arrive they check in and drop into the same live queue as your walk-ins, so you run one screen, not two. They get an email confirmation and a reminder before their slot.
What hardware do I need?

Is Filaro GDPR-friendly?
